On this page I will attempt to help you in getting your classified ad online through my page.  The service is sponsored and run by BRAVENET, this site's server.  I'll go line by line and explain what to put there.  As I become more familiar with this service, I may have to come back here and edit the instructions a bit.

  The only area(s) you might have a bit of trouble with are the IMAGE & WEBSITE URL.  I'll try to help you with these as best as I can.
  Note: These shouldn't be necessary to place an ad, but they can help in the sale.

Line #1 - FIRST NAME - This is your first name as it will appear in the ad.

Line #2 - LAST NAME - This is your last name as it will appear in the ad.

Line #3 - TITLE OF AD - This is where you put the SHORTEST possible (3-6 words) description you can of what you have for sale.  (Example:  WANTED - Front tubes for a '97 Sportster.)

Line #4 - IMAGE URL - OPTIONAL - To add a photo(s) of the item you are selling, you have two (2) options:

     1) Upload your item's photo(s) to one of the hundreds of Photo Library sites on the Internet, such as Yahoo,          AOL, etc.  They all have free photo storage.  From there, find the EXACT & COMPLETE link to this photo(s)          and include it on line #4....or
     2) ATTACH the photo(s) in an e-mail and send it to me.  I'll put it up for you.

Once the ad is placed with a photo(s), a square "thumbnail" of the photo(s) will be shown in the ad.

Line #5 - WEBSITE URL - OPTIONAL - If you have a website of your own and would like to include it in the ad, enter the complete address here (www.xxxxxx.xxx).

Line #6 - E-MAIL ADDRESS - OPTIONAL - If you wish to include your e-mail address in the ad, enter it here (suggested).

Line #7 - PASSWORD - OPTIONAL - If you think you may want to EDIT your ad later, type a password in here (Hint: use all small letters).  Without a password, you can't edit your own ad later.

Line #8 - AD CONTENT - This is where you give the BEST and most COMPLETE description of the article.  I do not know the size limit on this, so just think ahead about what you are selling and describe it the best you can - what it is, how old, condition, year made, model, asking price, etc. should all be included.

LINE #9 - DISPLAY FOR (XX) DAYS - Enter the number of days you'd like to have this ad displayed online.  I'm not sure of the top limit for this, so you will have to experiment with it.

LINE #10 - PRESERVE PARAGRAPH STRUCTURE - I'd leave the box checked.  I'm sure it will help create a better looking ad.

Now enter the scrambled letters as they appear.  This feature helps Bravenet protect itself from spam.

Click on POST to put this ad online.  You can then go to your new ad by using the little link on the MAIN PAGE of my site.  You will probably have to wait a little bit before it appears, so give it time.  If something is wrong with your ad, e-mail me and tell me what's wrong and I'll try to get it corrected.
